The Macsim FIRETEK Acrylic Sealant is a versatile and high-performance sealing solution designed for a variety of construction applications. This 300mL thixotropic paste is fire rated for up to 4 hours, complying with AS 1530.4:2014 standards, making it ideal for sealing joints in tilt-up constructions, pipe penetrations, and fire-rated plasterboard. Its light grey colour ensures a discreet finish while providing excellent adhesion to materials such as concrete, masonry walls, and metals.With an elongation capability of ≥50% and a temperature range of -30 to +85°C, this sealant accommodates movement effectively while maintaining its integrity. It is also acoustic rated at 56 STC, ensuring sound insulation in various applications. The water-based formula allows for easy clean-up and is paintable, low in VOCs, and has a low odour, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use without compromising air quality.
